Team Lead, Supply Chain

We are searching for a full-time Team Lead, Supply Chain to lead a four-person supply chain team based in our Lincoln, NE facility from procurement to receiving and delivery. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless operations and timely inventory management. By leveraging data analytics and supply chain technologies, this role will drive continuous improvement and maintain strong relationships with the team, and internal stakeholders to meet organization objectives.  

This role will be responsible for the following activities, including but not limited to,:

•Serves as the team lead for the local Supply Chain department. Oversee and coordinate daily activities. Assist and serve as backup for all department positions as needed. 

•Serves as Subject Matter Expert and resource for questions, troubleshooting and problem solving regarding all Supply Chain activities and projects.

•Liaise with other departments, such as clinical lab, bioanalytical lab, and accounting to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.

•Develops, modifies, and executes warehouse inventory levels based on product flows from procurement through customer requirements, forecasted targets and inventory objectives.

•Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

•Utilize supply chain management software and tools to track and manage inventory, orders, and deliveries.

•Provide general guidance to Supply Chain team and provide coordination/facilitation between Supply Chain and different business units

•Plans layout of stockroom/warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight and temperature.

•Provide systems and process training to internal customers and Supply Chain team.

•Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members and other departments.

• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.  A combination of education and/ or direct work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
• 3+ years of prior experience working in a Supply Chain or related role required
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management required related to purchasing, warehouse and inventory processes.
• Extensive knowledge of ERP systems and ability to run reports to analyze relevant dataAbility to work with all levels of the organization.  Customer service and interpersonal skills are critical to this position. 
• Strong Excel and analytical skills ; exporting data to Excel, performing basic data manipulation and analysis to provide findings to management
• Detail orientated and precise.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to lift 50lbs; operate and maneuver carts/ hand lifts
• Valid driver’s license
