Your tasks
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile (general) ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Managing accounts payable and receivable functions, payment processing, and collections
- Treasury: Producing liquidity overviews in the different currencies and execute weekly payment runs
- Tax Compliance: Supporting team heads, project managers and the sales team to be compliant with local and international tax regulations, preparing direct and indirect tax returns
Auditing: Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required - Fixed asset register: Keep and maintain the fixed asset register and lead through the annual inventory process
- Expense Reporting: Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies
Your skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g. Swiss Certified Accountant)
- Experience: 5-6 years of experience in accounting or a related role
- Excel-skills and experience with ERP systems and data warehouses as a plus
- Profound VAT know-how is a plus
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong communication, accountability and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
