What you'll be doing
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
- Ensure that improvement metrics related to: Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Inventory Accuracy are being met including 6S scores and other critical value stream metrics (lead time reduction, inventory turns and delivery service levels).
- Develop, monitor, and analyze visual metrics for the area; respond to metrics by identifying and resolving issues, implementing improvements, and improving process control.
- Determines methods for receiving, storing, identifying materials, inventory location, distributing materials to Production Areas.
- Maintains the warehouse’s integrity by auditing and performing Cycle counts to assure accurate entries into the inventory system.
- Managing relationships and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with third party vendors and suppliers related to the function
- Leads efforts and resources to use automated and computerized systems that will improve the storage, distribution, and control of goods.
- Implement Baxter Operation System principles on Warehouse, Visual Management, Standard Work, Capacity Analysis, Material Presentation (Andon, Kanban, Double Bin, Min/Max, etc)
- Ensure ERP transactions are accurately driven, maintaining high inventory accuracy and proper staffing levels.
- Manage quantity of stock, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Compliance with division policy and procedures, Federal regulations under Title 21 CFR Part 820, and ISO 13485:2003.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics engineering or similar
- Experience at management level for world-class high-volume warehouses, being responsible for the warehouse stock control including transfer and kan-ban areas and for optimizing warehouse assets and resources and planning future capacity requirements.
- Experience managing quantity of stock, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Advanced English proficiency
