As the premier supplier to our client, a leading financial service company in Geneva, Switzerland. Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as a .Net Software Engineer, permanent position based in Geneva, onsite 5 days a week.
Our client is looking for a candidate to join a small team based in the Geneva office, to serve as a key technical resource for our IT operations
Key responsibilities:
- Help in the development of new lines of business solutions using C#, WinForms, Excel and SQL (Oracle / Postgres)
- Designing and implementing complete solutions for our front office/risk systems.
Your background:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Finance
- Experience programming in C#, Java, or C++
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience with Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about programming and technology
- Background in financial services or trading industry
- Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, time sensitive team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- 5 days onsite
