Talvik Trust Services AG (“Talvik”) is Vaduz-based Trustee Company licensed by the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority and forms part of a world-class trust structure and private investment group. The group invests globally, across all major asset classes in institutional size. Talvik’s core responsibilities include:

  • Key enabler within the group
  • Providing investment and trust administration
  • Payment execution and cash balance management
  • Accounting, cost control, budgeting, and reporting
  • Document management and data security
  • Compliance activities & director, trustee, and stakeholder support

We are looking for a Payments Officer. The ideal candidate plays a key role in a compliant payment process with punctual correct documented files. The Payments Officer works closely with the Accounting Team members and reports to the Finance Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the receipt of invoices by post and email, as well as prompt communication and coordination with banks, lawyers, tax consultants and other service providers
  • Preparation of payment transactions including reviewing of contracts, checking previous payments, entering invoices in the accounting system, preparation of legal documents and organization of signatures as well as obtaining payment approvals
  • Processing of foreign and domestic payment transactions and bank transfers in the banking portal
  • Control and execution of foreign currency transactions
  • Assistance with the account reconciliations and cash flow management
  • Ensure all entity records are maintained, accurate and filed e.g. constitutional documents, share register and resolutions
  • Collaboration on improvement projects for payment process automation

 

Requirements

  • You have already been in a similar role as an employee for payments in a finance department
  • You completed commercial apprenticeship or optional holding a university degree
  • You have the ability to work efficiently, diligently and independently in an international environment
  • You are organized, accurate and detail-oriented with sound judgement and integrity
  • Professional excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required
  • You have a can-do positive mindset, resilient, flexible and willing to support team objectives
  • The office location is in Vaduz, Liechtenstein
