As part of a team of specialists, you will work on multi-layered requirements related to reference data and corporate actions mainly of fixed income products and their markets with the aim of providing high quality services to our customers

You will support the growing Fixed Income team with your in-depth knowledge and experience in the area of corporate actions and events of interest-bearing instruments. This also involves the integration of additional and new data content and specifying the detailed Business Analysis requirements from a content, data mapping and data flow perspective. We therefore expect you to also have a high affinity for technical contexts and be able to communicate easily with business and IT architects about solutions. You will work in close cooperation with our Product Management teams as well as numerous internal and external partners, experts and stakeholders. The solutions, services and data offerings you specify will ultimately be delivered as part of the SIX product portfolio and appeal to a broad international customer base.

What You Will Do 

• Analysis and functional specification of complex business requirements within the Fixed Income area, later also other asset classes, including the integration of new data interfaces
• Analysis of multi-layered events, payments and corporate action business cases, and description of how they are processed, maintained and delivered to our customers; ISO15022 as the standard for event messages plays an important role in this business area
• Creative development and description of solutions in cooperation with all departments involved, above all Business Architecture, IT Architecture and Development as well as Product Management and Global Operations
• Leading the business acceptance testing and active participation in customer communication 
• Represent solutions to very diverse internal and, on a case-by-case basis, external stakeholders with the goal of developing the best possible services for our clients

What You Bring 

• University degree, preferably in economics or business informatics, or a banking apprenticeship with further education
• Profound knowledge of the different types of fixed income instruments, their characteristics and functioning as well as their markets
• In-depth knowledge of corporate actions, reference data as well as ISO15022 format 
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a business analyst in the banking environment or with banking software providers in the areas of securities processing and / or operations, business concepts, requirements or standards 
• Winning personality, good communication skills with different people at all hierarchical levels and different internal and external departments: negotiating skills and assertiveness even in difficult and complex situations and a fluency in English
