This business unit is our logistics hub in Europe and provides logistical services for METTLER TOLEDO in the worldwide service business and in the import and export of products. To strengthen the Supply Chain Operations team in Nänikon-Greifensee, we are looking for a committed and independent Supply Chain Transportation Specialist 100% (all genders)In this role, your responsibilities would include: You monitor and evaluate delivery performance of carriers and 3PL for the EU-HUB.You design and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).You manage routes, lead times, and costs for transportation efficiency.You maintain carrier agreements to ensure compliance.You manage inbound flow of materials and coordinate with carrier and 3PL to ensure materials are on time in stock. You handle escalations between carriers, vendors, 3PL and Supply Chain Management.You lead regular meetings with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and carriers.You oversee data extraction and analysis to identify transportation and inbound improvements.You plan and execute logistics improvement projects and support the implementation of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) with 3PL.
