Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated MDM Specialist to help our IT Data and Application Management team in developing, optimizing and maintaining our master data management system (MDM).

Responsibilities

  • Work closely in the team to manage the entire development lifecycle of our MDM system (from requirements analysis/definition to development, testing, rollout and maintenance);

  • Identify performance bottlenecks and provide solutions for them to ensure scalability of the MDM system;

  • Collaborate with application owners, business analysts and other stakeholders to understand additional requirements and implement them;

  • Support the team in further developing the central master data management system (MDM), focusing on building interfaces and integrations from and to the MDM solution;

  • Act as backup for the MDM application manager;

  • Contribute to the entire development lifecycle of our SQL-based data reconciliation platform (from requirements analysis/definition to development, testing, rollout and maintenance);

  • Design and implement additional integrations into the reconciliation platform.

Requirements

  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL);

  • You are experienced with data reconciliation, database and file-based integrations;

  • In the past you familiarized yourself with ETL processes;

  • You gained a broad understanding of data architecture and data modelling;

  • Interest in new technologies and willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics;

  • Solution and goal-oriented personality with strong analytical and conceptual skills. Others would say you have a structured working style and a great attention to detail;

  • If you already worked in the financial services industry and additionally bring specific knowledge in asset management, it's considered as a plus;

  • If you also have good communication skills in English and German, we are very much looking forward to getting your application documents.
