Job Description
The Private Markets financial operations team is looking to add a motivated self-starter to the team. The role has primary focus on investment controlling and reporting technical topics and operational process improvements with deep understanding of accounting data and reporting requirements.
The key tasks include:

Streamlining and consolidating existing business processes with an emphasis on sustainability and future efficiency and scalability within Financial Operations;

Facilitate projects and coordinate with cross- functional teams to produce optimal business outcomes;

Subject matter expert on Investran and other systems utilized in Financial Operations;

Compiling use cases and eliciting user requirements for the development and implementation of technical solutions within investment controlling;

Collaborating with enterprise and business architects on business and technology projects;

Participating in and evaluating business uses for new technologies introduced;

Working with internal and external administrators to ensure relevant investment and program reporting data is available across various assets classes;

Development and enhancement of internal tools for performance fee forecasting and long-term investor forecasting;

Develop and expand the private markets valuation policy.
Requirements
-
University degree in Finance/Accounting or similar qualification;
-
Prior work experience in fund industry in an accounting/finance, controlling or fund audit role, in depth understanding of accounting, fund reporting requirements and fund structure set up is required;

Practical experience with Investran from technical and business perspectives, working experience with Hazeltree and/or Dealcloud a plus;

Experience in project coordination and implementation across multiple teams;

Strong skills associated with process analysis, information flow and problem solving;

Deliver in an environment with high expectations and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment;

Manage time well, adapting to dynamic situations and priorities.
