DEMAND PLANNING SPECIALIST

The Spare Parts BU of Ariston Group, whose HQ is located in Manno - Ticino (Switzerland), aims to reinforce the Planning department by introducing a

DEMAND PLANNING SPECIALIST PARTS

In this role, you will be part of a highly enthusiastic, professional, and skilled team responsible for the overall planning process. This includes analyzing historical sales trends and drivers, supporting the forecasting process, and interacting with internal and external suppliers. Your mission is to achieve an outstanding level of service for the customer by ensuring the availability of the needed spare parts while keeping stock levels under strict control. You will also be involved in specific analyses related to goods consumption, stock and footprint optimization, and new product launches. In this position, you will interact with several departments within Ariston Group (R&D, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, technical team, etc.) and a wide range of external suppliers managing various types of components and products.

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • Managing external suppliers’ (mainly located in the EU) orders to ensure goods availability by monitoring stock levels
  • Managing intercompany material flows from production facilities
  • Providing production priorities to the SP warehouse based on availability
  • Maintaining and updating the planning tool with the required parameters (safety stock, reorder point, service level, etc.)
  • Acting as the reference point for the sales administration team to provide availability information
  • Acting as the reference point for the technical team and project managers regarding new SP availability related to product launches
  • Analyzing stock and coverage levels for the components and spare parts assigned to your responsibility

For the ideal candidate, we require:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or equivalent
  • Experience in Planning and Supply Chain (2–3 years or more)
  • Knowledge of SAP planning modules
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in analyzing large datasets (a plus)
  • Fluency in Italian and a good knowledge of English and German (mandatory)
  • Flexibility, communication and negotiation skills, teamwork ability, and a sense of responsibility
