The Position

The Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) team within Sensor and Cartridge Operations ensures the efficient and high-quality production of electrochemical sensors and cartridges by bridging the gap between product development and full-scale manufacturing. As an intern, you'll leverage data-driven analysis and multi-modal machine learning to enhance manufacturing processes.
This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, on site (work from home possible).
Key Responsibilities

Analyze production process and/or experimental data with classical statistics and machine learning

Build proof-of-concept machine learning-based projects using imaging and process data

Support production with MSA and shopfloor analysis experiments

Support through exploratory data analysis of multiple data types

Report results and conclusions to the project team

Create ideas for process improvements
Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor's/Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Production and Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related fields (or a technical apprenticeship with a Bachelor degree ongoing) after February 2024 and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.

Technical details:
The start date for the internship is March 2025 with a duration of 6-12 months.
Part-time employment is possible.
If required, it is possible to write a thesis during the internship.
The application deadline is November 11th. Interviews will take place in late November and early December.
