Our team is growing, and we're looking for a motivated new colleague with experience in meteorology!
Meteomatics, a leading global provider of weather intelligence and innovative meteorological solutions, seeks an experienced and ambitious Key Account Manager with a strong track record and a genuine passion for selling our unique weather solutions to senior leaders.
As the Key Account Manager for the Middle East, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with both existing and new customers, providing technical support, product training, and identifying opportunities to increase value through upselling and cross-selling. You will also play a key role in acquiring new customers, working to scale our business in this important region.
We are seeking a candidate who combines technical expertise in meteorology with strong commercial skills and is capable of working autonomously and proactively to drive results.
Your responsibilities
- Manage technical account responsibilities, including product training, ongoing support, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the region
- Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers and expand Meteomatics' presence in the Middle East
- Plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles
- Travel frequently to customer sites to provide hands-on assistance, build strong relationships, and ensure customers get maximum value from our solutions
- Serve as the primary technical expert for customers, translating their needs into effective solutions that maximize the value of our weather intelligence products
- Create and deliver impactful presentations and demos that highlight the unique value proposition of our offerings
- Collect and document competitive intelligence to inform strategy and product development
- Collaborate with global teams while working independently to drive business growth and meet sales targets in the region
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Climate/Atmospheric Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in technical account management, sales, or similar roles, ideally within weather data or meteorological solutions
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth through upselling and acquiring new customers
- Fluency in Arabic and English, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to sell complex enterprise solutions and build long-lasting relationships with senior executives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation and creative problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) both internationally and domestically
