Our Senior Account Executive Queensland role is focused on a small number of Key and Strategic Accounts, while playing a leadership face for OpenText in the state. Our accounts range from some of Queensland’s largest government bodies and several large commercial sector customers spanning the Financial and Energy market.
In Queensland, our customers are aggressively driving their applications business to the cloud. You will be recently experienced in transforming a traditional Enterprise Software business to the cloud.

As the Senior Account Executive responsible for our Commercial business, you will be seen as a leader of the Queensland operation for OpenText. This means you will need to work with and demonstrate leadership across many other areas of the business you will engage with, including Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Partner Managers, Customer Renewals, Maintenance, HR, Finance and Revenue Recognition, none of which report to you. You will be an expert matrix leader, getting the best from those around you because they want to work with you.

OpenText’s Queensland operation is not large in number of staff, yet our customer base and opportunity are impressive. It is therefore of critical importance that you maximize your effectiveness and efficacy as well as the team around you within the Queensland market.
It is important that you have focus on your role and quota targets, while also coaching the teams that work with you to maximize their effectiveness to deliver the outstanding outcomes your customers expect. This role is more than selling as you will effectively act as the leader of the Opentext operation in country.
