Responsibilities Lead the CAO function in Asia Pacific and act as a relay with Paris Head Office on corporate governance and corporate secretariat matters, ensuring adequate information flow on relevant topics and leading related implementation in Asia Pacific. Act as Executive Governance Officer for Asia BU perimeter (e.g. support the deployment of the minimum comitology within its scope, centralization and follow-up of derogation/exemption requests, reporting on the governance of its scope). Ownership of the Asia BU Policy on Policies and of the Asia BU Normative Documentation framework (including the Asia BU Normative Documentation Committee). Ensure coordination and alignment across the region in relation to policy management. Act as regional coordinator as part of the Group Norms’ (SG Code) certification process. Act as Committee Secretary for the Asia BU Legal Entities Review Committee and work with the Paris Head Office and with the secretaries of other business units to ensure an exhaustive and transparent coverage of the legal entities in scope of Asia BU. Ownership of the Legal Entities Identifiers renewal process for Asia BU legal entities. Act as backup/support to the other dedicated CAO resources in Asia (when feasible under local regulations). Ensure coordination with, and alignment of, local Corporate Life Managers within Asia BU, including for the preparation and roll out of standards, good practices, governance (e.g. PoA, corporate offices…) and controls, and for the monitoring of regulatory watch developments relevant to CAO activities. Contribute to Asia BU reporting initiatives or other committees by supporting the development and production of CAO related indicators. Implement necessary synergies amongst the dedicated CAO resources in Asia Pacific to ensure efficiency within the Asia BU CAO function. Profile required Experience in Legal, Finance, Risk or Compliance. Experience in coordination across entities and countries, in leading initiatives, and in implementing frameworks. Ability to work closely with colleagues in other departments and to interact with Senior Management. Discipline and professionalism: strong organizational, drafting, time management and prioritization skills, and ability to work under pressure. Creativity, team spirit and commitment. Good interpersonal and communication skills and a strong command of spoken and written English. Knowledge of Cantonese an added advantage to be able to supervise Hong Kong company secretary matters. Knowledge of French language an added advantage to ensure efficient communication with Paris Head Office. Some business travel might be required as part of the Asia CAO function team management.
