You will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, business sense and data analytic capability to integrate sourcing, category and business strategies as well as the Procure-to-Pay process.
Reporting to the Sr Manager, Direct Procurement EMEA, the Procurement Specialist is responsible for regional category strategy deployment, regional supplier relationship management, and execution of key category programs inclusive of dual sourcing, risk management, savings pipeline identification, cost savings implementation.

Main responsibilities
- Total cost analysis, benchmarking and operational data to see opportunities generating Cost Reduction, Inflation Avoidance, Cash Preservation, Supplier Performance Improvement and Risk Mitigation.
- Partner with Global Category Manager of assigned categories to contribute to global category strategy implementation in EMEA by collecting and providing regional business requirements and regional supply market information., Contribute to creation ofpipeline of opportunities and prioritize efforts.
- Collaborate with BD manufacturing sites, business, as well as support functions (i.e. Quality, Supply Chain, Finance) to align sourcing goals and timelines with key Cost-to-Win programs.
- Responsible for internal stakeholder management, for assigned categories and / or sites, and handles a wide range of two-way communication with and in support of site procurement that arises in the course of implementation, while demonstrating close collaboration and alignment with category group leaders and global and regional strategic sourcing managers.
- Lead Supplier Relationship Management program, Supplier Business Reviews, Drive RFx activities, and identification of opportunities and Supplier CI
- Provide inputs for Quarterly Budget Guidance.
- Partner with Procurement Center of Excellence to timely draft and implement contracts and service level agreements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience required
- Desirably 2 years of work experience within Procurement group, preferably in Medical/Pharma, Automotive, FMCG – open for junior profiles and coming from other industries
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Driven for results
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
- Proficient English written and verbal
