Safran Sensing Technologies Switzerland is specialized in high-performance, tactical-grade MEMS accelerometers and MEMS acceleration sensors. Our advanced MEMS inertial technology, with high frequency capabilities, is reliable and accurate. This is critical for aerospace, automotive, and defense applications, inertial navigation, and motion detection.
Safran Sensing Technologies Switzerland is one entity of the Business Line “Inertial sensors and clocks” of the Business Unit “One PNT”.
In order to develop our business, we are creating the role of Sales Manager.
Reporting to our Sales Business Development Director based in Switzerland, your primary objective is to develop our market share in the US.
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Developer responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in North America as a first step, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.
Your role:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in North America, with the support of Safran entity in the USA, on the full portfolio of the Business Line.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans in order to increase market share and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of business strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
- Negotiate and close business deals to achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of business development opportunities, in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the company.
- Provide input on product development and marketing strategies based on market feedback.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with business development activities
Your Profile
The ideal candidate has a strong background in international business, excellent communication and negotiation skills in French and English, and a proven track record of achieving business development goals.
You have a technical background at Bachelor or Engineering level, or alternatively you have acquired a deep knowledge and understanding in the electronics field. MBA appreciated.
We would like to know more about your successful experience of minimum 5 years in the semi-conductor sector, preferably in the sensors’ market.
