Embedded Hardware Engineer

For our Headquarter in Rancate, we are looking to hire a passionate Embedded Hardware Engineer. Do you love designing PCBs? Are you passionate about electronic hardware craftsmanship? Would you like to work on projects with tangible impact? As an Embedded Hardware Engineer, you will help to shape the next generation of Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) system for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB).
YOUR KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Design, test, and troubleshoot PCBs and embedded electronic assemblies
- Collaborate within a wider, multi-discipline development team to deliver products efficiently
- Contribute innovative ideas and novel electronic design solutions to solve business and customer problems
- Contribute improvements to the team’s working practices, to ensure a high standard of quality and efficiency
- Comply with all product and safety requirements
- Produce and review technical, quality and production documentation;
- Collaborate with production department on design manufacturability
- Manage prototypes production, assembly and testing
- Support products through lifecycle
- Master or PhD degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in electronics development, simulation and testing
- Excellent understanding of electronics principles and electronic production methods
- Prior experience with high-speed ICs, FPGAs, power supplies, analog sensor circuits in industrial setups
- Experience using electronic design software (Altium Designer preferred)
- Experience producing technical and production documentation
- Experience in a structured development process from the definition of requirements to implementation into production
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- The Knowledge of the following will constitute a plus:
– Embedded MCUs and FPGAs programming skills (C/C++/Python/VHDL, Linux)
