F&B Manager


Passionate about F&B management, adept at team leadership, and skilled in cost control and finance, you excel with your friendly attitude and tailored service. Fluent in English and German, you effortlessly engage with an international clientele.

 

CONTRACT: 100% fixed-term contract, starting date: April 2024

 

MISSIONS:

Non-exhaustive list of activities & tasks

 

·        Be a brand ambassador for the Hotel and its F&B departments, which includes the renowned Chez Meyer’s Restaurant, the Jack’s Brasserie, the Banquets, and breakfast services.

·        Develop and implement a comprehensive F&B cost control and inventory management system, taking into consideration sales statistics for F&B.

·        Assume responsibility for F&B operations of all F&B outlets.

·        Provide training to F&B member, to help them reach the Relais & Châteaux standards.

·        Analyse guests feedback and take actions accordingly: communication with the team, improvement plans with concrete actions.

·        Prepare F&B staff schedules based on forecasts, to optimize resources and ensure exceptional service.

·        Revamp menu designs to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue growth, leveraging market trends and guest feedback.

·        Oversee F&B reservations across all channels and communicate pertinent information to the team during pre-shift briefings for coordinated service delivery.

·        Manage beverage stock control in accordance with hotel occupancy forecasts, maintaining optimal inventory levels and cost-effectiveness.

·        Coordinate banquet groups in collaboration with the chef, curating menus that align with client preferences while managing costs effectively.

·        Assist other department where and when needed.

 

PREREQUISITES:

·        3 years' experience in a similar position.

·        Hotel training required.

·        Language skills: German, French or English.
