The Role
You will support the development and execution of data analytics initiatives at SI Buildings by playing a vital role in defining and driving a data driven approach that supports efficiency and drives outcomes. Working closely with various teams, including business unit management, analytics teams, and data architecture, to implement initiatives that improve the performance of SI Buildings. We want to provide valuable insights to leaders throughout the company in a consistent manner
Location: While our preferred location is the Siemens Smart Infrastructure headquarters inZug, Switzerland, we are open to candidates based in other key locations within the EU
Your new Responsibilities
- Product Roadmap Management: Create and manage a product roadmap that prioritizes features and improvements based on stakeholder feedback and business impact
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business units, to gather requirements and understand data needs.
- Analytics Solutions Oversight: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of analytics solutions, ensuring they meet user needs and are delivered on time and within budget
- User Experience Focus:Collaborate with developers to enhance the user experience of data tools, ensuring usability and accessibility for all stakeholders
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze product business metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and optimize analytics offerings
- Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure that analytics solutions adhere to data governance policies and compliance regulations, maintaining data integrity and security
- Market Research:Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage
Your talents and experience
- Master's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Prior experience in a product business related space is a strong plus
- 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in data analytics or related fields
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies, as well as prior exposure to data related concepts. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with a strong ability to work across departments and build relationships
- This role requires business-fluent English language skills
- German as well as additional other language(s) is a plus
