About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Solutions Consultant that will provide end to end solution management for pharmacy automation and outpatient pharmacy portfolio. This role will ensure customer experience is a priority from pre-sales to post implementation. The role will consult with customers on the best way to implement and optimize outpatient and ambulatory pharmacy automation solutions.

- Excels in a fast-paced healthcare sales-support role
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, including both hospital based as well as care continuum medication management and supply chain processes. Has a thorough knowledge of nursing, pharmacy, and materials management practice/workflows, and BD’s medication management dispensing, infusion, and supply solutions.
- Maintains deep solution expertise for the outpatient pharmacy and mail order pharmacy specialties.
- A background in industrial manufacturing, outpatient pharmacy, or retail pharmacy is a must
- Authoritatively performs complex customer current state assessment and creates a compelling future state case to meet customer’s strategic objectives/vision. Ensures customer strategic goals and implementation of solutions are aligned across the business.
- Effectively communicates and collaborates with team members (internal and external) to drive alignment on recommendations and proposed solutions. Engages appropriate implementation resources to support successful implementation based on customer stated goals and objectives. Remains point of contact through the completion of the engagement.
- Possesses dynamic presentation skills and excellent business writing skills.

- Strategically works with sales and customer service organization to prioritize activities.
- Collaborates with implementation and support service resources to ensure customer is optimizing/applying solutions to achieve strategic goals and objectives identified at beginning of project, if applicable.
- Handles multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizes tasks based on organizational need and judgment, and is productive working independently in remote office situations.
About you:
- Provides sales consultation and workflow analysis of existing processes within the medication management and supply chain systems, specifically in the areas of outpatient and centralized pharmacy services. Identifies current areas of inefficiencies, patient/provider safety concerns, revenue augmentation, cost reduction, regulatory non-compliance, and drug diversion opportunities. Performs workflow redesign with practice change recommendations and accompanying BD solutions to facilitate achievement of industry standard processes and customer strategic goals.
- Provides clinical consulting support primarily for sales to develop customer specific strategic BD solution roadmaps. Remains engaged through customer lifecycle as strategic point of contact.
Education and experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an outpatient/ambulatory pharmacy environment
- Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree or certifications in pharmacy automation are a plus.
- Up to 75% travel required, including nights and some weekends
- Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued license driver’s license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD’s auto safety standards.
Required
- Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician
- Experience with outpatient pharmacy operations automation
