As the owner of the technical SAP architecture, this role involves providing and maintaining guidelines and standards for applicable technologies and methods, ensuring the integrity of the SAP landscape. Additionally, this position oversees the Business Technology Platform (BTP), with a particular focus on integration architecture. The role will lead all technology-related activities supporting the upcoming transformation to S/4Hana.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all technology aspects of the SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA conversion/migration, including defining technical specifications, integration needs, and data migration requirements
• Manage and supervise a team of external technology developers, enforcing technical guidelines and standards for the design, specification, documentation, and implementation of interfaces, ABAP developments, workflows, Fiori apps, and more
• Ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of the SAP platform
• Provide second and third-level support for live applications across multiple countries, handling troubleshooting and incident/service request management
• Occasional travel to sites in Europe and the Americas is required – you must be flexible to travel

Experience required for this role:

• Over 5 years of experience as a SAP (Lead) Technology Architect, with expertise in supporting solutions based on ECC/Netweaver and S/4HANA
• Extensive knowledge and proven achievements in SAP Business Technology, including a solid track record in designing SAP S/4HANA architecture
• Experienced in integrating both cloud-based and on-premise solutions.
• Proficient with the following technologies/tools: ABAP, ABAP-OO, ABAP-Proxy, EDI, ALE/IDoc, Web Service, RFC, CIF, OData, REST, SOAP, SAPUI5, CDS views, WebDynpro, Workflow BOR, BRF (Business Rules Framework), BSP (Business Server Pages), and BOPF
• Knowledge of the SAP Business Partner module and CVI integration as a prerequisite for S/4HANA is advantageous.
• Background in project management.
• Language fluency: English – ideally also German. If you can also communicate in Spanish or Croatian – highly advantageous.
• Experienced in working in global environments and with internationally distributed teams.
