The Role
As Portfolio Launch Manager Automation you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the global rollout of new portfolio elements, particularly in the automation sector. In this role, you drive market entry efforts with a focus on the release process. Additionally, you will develop, and own launch strategies aimed at accelerating product introductions, enabling sales, and providing critical feedback for continuous improvement. This role also involves ensuring clear communication and support to sales regions, monitoring regional performance, addressing challenges, and refining processes to ensure the success of each portfolio launch. This will require cross-functional work with teams around the world
You will be a member of the global Marketing function and within that, part of the Marketing Operations & Launch Excellence team, based in Zug, Switzerland
Your new responsibilities
- Lead Global Portfolio Rollouts for Automation: Ensure comprehensive readiness for marketing, sales implementation, training, and support across all regions for global portfolio rollouts
- Establish and Lead Portfolio Introduction Teams: Build and manage teams focused on driving market entries before, during and post-release
- Develop and own portfolio launch concepts, driving the creation and maintenance of strategies that ensure successful new introductions
- Accelerate New Portfolio Introductions: Focus on speeding up the introduction of new portfolio elements, ensuring timely sales enablement, and providing feedback to headquarters for continuous improvement
- Ensure timely delivery and clear communication to sales regions, actively driving their readiness and capability for both sales and technical aspects
- Drive Portfolio Launch Success: Cultivate regional buy-in and support for portfolio launches, actively monitor and respond to regional performance during the introduction phase
- Proactively gather and address regional feedback, removing roadblocks and continuously refining introduction processes for optimal impact
- Continuously evaluate and improve the introduction processes, applying learnings from previous experiences to enhance future portfolio launches
Your talents and experience
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Engineering, Digital or Services Marketing or a comparable qualification with a solid commercial experience
- 5 years plus of experience in a similar role
- Experience within the Building Automation industry is preferred
- Experience with Siemens products would be very helpful and gives you an edge
- Strong stakeholder management & people management skills
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and driving cross functional projects in a matrixed organization
- A high degree of self-motivation and creativity, in order to brainstorm and adopt new concepts quickly
- Strategic and out-of-the-box thinking, paired with an entrepreneurial and a self-starter mindset
- Strong communication skills and process oriented
- A strong customer orientation sets you apart from others
- Fluent in English and be able to explain complex topics in an engageable way
- Fluent German is a plus. Additional languages are welcome
