We are looking for you as our Program Manager / Epic Owner for our location in Rümlang.

 

A job that matters: your tasks 

  • You will take responsibility for large and overarching development projects , managing them from initiation to completion. When multiple development areas and locations need to collaborate efficiently and effectively towards a common goal, your skills and competencies ensure seamless coordination and overall accountability.
  • Structuring projects and potentially breaking them down into manageable sub-projects (Epics) with durations of 9-12 months, driving the MVP approach in Lean Portfolio Management
  • Time and resource planning for your assigned agile projects in collaboration with teams, architects, product managers, and business owners.
  • Taking responsibility for your assigned agile projects from the approved project request (DP A) to project completion (DP F) through the Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) Kanban system.
  • Representing and presenting projects in internal and external committees.
  • Active participation and regular reporting in the Lean Portfolio Management committees to achieve AIM decision points, drive LPM prioritization and contribute to planning ceremonies.
  • Engaging and leading all involved stakeholders within and outside the SAFe framework. This includes coordinating with product development, product management, and customers.
  • Working with product management to ensure development teams receive and process necessary inputs (features) on time before a PI Planning.

 

An experience that matters: your skills

 

  • More than 5 years of experience in international technical project/program management and product development in relevant technical domains, including mechanical and mechatronic systems; experience with embedded systems is advantageous.
  • Solid practical understanding of lean-agile product development frameworks (SAFe) and methods (e.g., SCRUM).
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, or equivalent; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Internationally recognized education in project management (e.g., PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2); certification is beneficial.
  • Certification in SCRUM (e.g., Scrum Master) and/or SAFe is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English and German.
