For the timely and accurate payroll processing for our legal entities in Italy and Portugal and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local payroll regulations we are searching an experienced Payroll Specialist.

IHRE AUFGABEN

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for employees in our legal entities in Italy and Portugal, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

  • Collaborate with external payroll provider and internal teams to process monthly payroll, including reviewing and approving payroll reports

  • Ensure compliance with international labour law, tax regulations, and company policies in all payroll-related activities

  • Handle payroll-related enquiries from employees, providing timely and accurate answers and/or resolutions

  • Reconcile payroll accounts and support audits by preparing necessary reports and documentation

  • Support year-end reporting requirements, including tax filings and annual statements

  • Participate in payroll related projects

  • Support team where needed in other payroll areas​

YOUR PROFILE

  • Apprenticeship, high school diploma or similar and further education in HR (e.g. Payroll Specialist)

  • Previous professional experience in a comparable position (Payroll or HR Administration) of at least 5 years

  • Strong organisational skills, structured working approach, ability to work independently, undertake tasks without instruction, set priorities, coordinate processes, and multitask

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

  • Communicative, open-minded, client-oriented and an approachable personality who is enthusiastic to achieve results in a team

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

  • Sophisticated verbal and written communication in German and English, other languages advantageous

  • Workday experience

  • Very good MS Excel skills

  • Experience working in a multinational organisation

  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reconciliations
