An opportunity exists in our Commercial Core Sales organisation for a sales leader looking to further develop their career in a hyper-growth, fast-paced and dynamic environment!

We are seeking an exceptional and ambitious First Line Sales Manager who will play a key role in driving strategic sales initiatives for our Manufacturing & Life Sciences team with commercial accounts in Switzerland.

Role Description:
As a First Line Sales Manager, you will play a key role leading a team of highly visible and motivated Enterprise Account Executives in our commercial Manufacturing & Life Sciences industry vertical. Our culture is a pivotal element of our success at Salesforce so your leadership will encompass strong energy, passion and the ability to lead a dynamic workforce based across our Switzerland offices. Ideal candidates should possess solid B2B SaaS sales and prior Sales management experience. Industry experience in Manufacturing is required and experience in Life Sciences is desirable and will differentiate you from other candidates.

Your Impact:

  • Develop & inspire a diverse team of talents who are seen as trusted advisors by our customers
  • Secure & drive a high-performance culture, starting from recruiting, hiring and training of Account Executives
  • Build strong team unity, internal connections and collaboration across the Salesforce eco-system
  • Mentor & professionally develop your Account Executives to identify & create sales opportunities and to secure a high close rate of their pipeline in a steady and predictable way across each fiscal year
  • Drive pipeline generation initiatives to improve revenue generating opportunities within the Manufacturing & Life Sciences industry verticals
  • Support your Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings and by engaging other corporate resources at any stage of the sales process, as required
  • Be the driving force in shaping our value proposition & our Go-To-Market strategy (GTM) for the Manufacturing industry vertical in Switzerland - Inspire, guide & contribute to our “Move The Market” cross-functional team for Manufacturing
  • Grow our reach & relevance in Switzerland and fuel the expansion of our business in the industry verticals
  • Be & act as a thought leader for agentic & digital transformations with our Commercial Manufacturing & Life Sciences Accounts in Switzerland, engage their C-Level with meaningful business, value, technology & commercial discussions
  • Foster & develop our relationships with all the relevant Partners & Stakeholders (e.g., System Integrators, Consulting Firms, Industry Associations) in the Manufacturing & Life Sciences industry in Switzerland
  • Lead weekly forecast meetings - focused on your territory - in a predictable & exhaustive way
  • Accurately report on sales activities and forecasting to Area Sales Management


Required skills:
Fluency in German & English - French is a plus
Proven ability to create and inspire impactful & diverse teams
Consistent track record in building, inspiring & managing sales team in complex solution selling in SaaS
People management experience (directly or via matrix)
Ability to operate and navigate successfully in a matrix / multi-product sales environment
Passion for supporting team development, as well as for their own self-improvement
Excellent interpersonal skills; able to inspire and build trusted relationships (internally and externally)
Experience positioning/selling SaaS solutions in the Manufacturing industry
Experience leading teams selling transformational technology solutions to both Business & IT stakeholders
Excellent negotiation skills & analytics
A self-starter that can excel in a fast-paced environment
