In this role you will contribute to the Zurich Sustainability Reporting on the Group’s investment assets. Your focus will be but is not limited to the implementation and reporting of the CSRD governance related performance indicators.

You will join a highly dedicated team of responsible investment specialists, whose team spirit and specific expertise guarantee an exciting working environment and growth opportunities. The Responsible Investment team reports into the Head of Strategy Development and works closely with all central and local investment teams across the globe. The Responsible Investment team acts as the centre of expertise for any Responsible Investment related matters, including ESG Integration, ESG Exclusions, Engagement, Proxy Voting, Impact investing and Decarbonisation.

What you will do

  • Designing and coordinating the implementation of Regulatory Sustainability reporting from an Investment Management perspective
  • Understanding of Sustainability related regulation
  • Closely collaborate with internal partners (including technical/data specialists) and build strong relationships with Group stakeholders
  • Build up the process of Sustainability report production, ensuring high quality standards and appropriate internal reviews are in place
  • Liaise and collaborate with Group Sustainability and Group Sustainability Reporting teams on methodology as well as other topics; liaise and collaborate with other stakeholders as required (e.g. Underwriting, Info Tech, Risk Management, Finance, Own operations)
  • Ensure that reporting needs are reflected into existing tools/systems to facilitate an automated delivery where appropriate
  • Ability to work with technical database experts and support technical solutions to reporting requirements
  • Project management activities regarding CSRD reporting implementation
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of sustainability data sources, methodologies, operating procedures, and reporting procedures
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for sustainability data management and reporting
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret sustainability data from external providers to meet reporting requirements
  • Develop, implement and oversee control activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of sustainability data

What you bring

  • Technical, quantitative, and analytical skills and the ability to interact with technical/ database experts
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, CSRD knowledge is an asset
  • Interest or knowledge in sustainability / sustainability reporting
  • Relevant experience in reporting and communications
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
