YOUR MISSION
- You lead, coach and mentor a small team of engineers
- You are responsible for the coordination of structural and injection molding simulation tasks within the Group
- You perform static and dynamic nonlinear FEM calculations for elastomeric anti-vibration and sealing components
- You oversee scoping, planning, performing and reporting technical calculation of components
- You help define experimental test procedures and correlate simulation models to test results
- You identify and shape future improvement needs within the CAE department
- You communicate complex technical topics understandably and efficiently with internal and external customers
- You interface with designers, project engineers and manufacturing within different international regions
- You write simulation guidelines and training materials used within the organization
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field (international experience preferred, e.g. overseas exchange program or foreign internship)
- First leadership experience would be an advantage
- 5+ years of experience in structural and injection molding simulation
- Proficiency in tool design and injection molding process in the elastomer or plastics industry
- Expertise in polymer material modeling and rheological characterization
- Skilled in calibration, verification, and validation of models through physical testing
- Proficiency with injection molding simulation software such as Sigmasoft, Moldex3D, Moldflow, and familiarity with Abaqus/CAE is advantageous.
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Innovative and ambitious personality with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer orientation, capable of interacting effectively with individuals across various business areas
