To strengthen our Operations team in Zurich we are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and curious:

 

Business Analyst / Project Manager (80 - 100%)

 

The ideal candidate will assist in optimizing business processes and IT applications that enhance efficiency and productivity as well as supporting / leading a broad range of projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, project management capabilities, and a solid understanding of IT systems to support our business objectives. You will be reporting into the Aon Switzerland COO.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

  • Assist in analysing existing business processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and document analysis
  • Develop basic process maps and workflows to support process improvement initiatives
  • Work with stakeholders to define objectives and deliverables

 

Project Management:

  • Support the management of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope
  • Develop and maintain simple project plans, timelines, and milestones
  • Assist in coordinating project meetings and communication among team members and stakeholders
  • Help identify project risks and issues and develop basic mitigation strategies

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented processes and IT applications
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make basic recommendations
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business analysis, project management, and IT applications

 

IT Applications:

  • Support the evaluation and recommendation of IT applications that align with business needs
  • Assist in the implementation and integration of new IT systems
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system performance
    and reliability
  • Provide basic training and support to end-users on new applications and processes

 

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams to support alignment and collaboration

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of process improvement methodologies
  • Exposure to implementing and managing IT applications is a plus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Detail oriented, flexible, hands-on and organized individual who is able to navigate complex environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in German and English. French is a plus
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work
  • An eagerness to learn and contribute to project success
