During the Program you’ll gain insights into different areas of our Global IT&D Air & Ocean (ITDAO) department. We tailor your program based on your unique strengths, interests, and goals, ensuring a personalized learning experience. Starting off in Essen, Germany, you will then have the opportunity to deep dive into our department all whilst building a strong international network across DB Schenker.

• As a Trainee in our Global IT&D Air & Ocean department you will get the chance to run through core areas to learn everything you need to know about our business, IT landscape and systems
• Therefore you´ll learn to review business requirements and create or support solution strategies to ensure development initiatives comply with architecture principles and our application roadmap
• You’ll dive into the development, evaluation and documentation of the ITDAO architecture
• You will support the teams in their daily work, be it in a guided way or in your individual responsibility
• Participating in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to projects, process management and others
• This program is not just about gaining experience; it's about your growth. Develop your skills and unleash your potential by supporting different projects and taking responsibility
• You are in the final stages of your bachelor's or master's degree specializing on computer science, IT, business informatics, natural science or a related field of study
• Your knowledge in analysis, design and development of application systems and software architecture as well as standard architecture frameworks (e. g. TOGAF), coupled with any work experience, would make you a perfect fit for our program
• Your strong analytical skills and knowledge of software development lifecycles, design, engineering or development language will help you to identify and solve challenges in our projects
• Effective communication, team spirit and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse, intercultural teams and stakeholders
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
