Job Description
About This Role
The Site IT Stakeholder Success Lead will facilitate alignment between IT and an assigned line of business. The Stakeholder Success Lead will be focused on ensuring that stakeholders are succeeding to achieve their goals with the IT system they are provided. To ensure “success” means working closely with stakeholders to understand their business strategy and evolving, needs, challenges, opportunities, and associated priorities. And then, to ensure their automation and information needs are properly met by working collaboratively with other members of their functional unit and/or other functional units. Stakeholder Success Leads do not just seek out and then funnel problems or issues to system owners but rather take an active role in helping to solve the problem. In all cases, the primary responsibility of the SSL is ensuring the effective on-going delivery and customization of IT services to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Success Leads are a critical part of the face of IT. They represent ALL of IT to the stakeholder community they serve.
This role emphasizes outcomes (stakeholder success) as opposed to process (relationship management / partnering). Clearly, partnering and relationship management are important activities but what matters most is that our stakeholders are successful, and this requires a certain mindset and approach to the way in which we work with them. It means looking to solve problems rather than processing demand for system requests. It means going beyond the initial request and understanding what success is for the stakeholder - and looking for the best way to drive that success.
This role will be based in the respective manufacturing site and is a full-time on-site role.
