Position: Contract Technician covering South Eastern Trust (SET)
Location: Field based - Belfast
Job type: Full time, Permenant
The impact you will have
Working as an Arjo Contract technician covering South Eastern Trust (SET), you will be responsible for fulfilling agreed SET Contract related tasks in line with company policies and procedures.
- To carry out SET contract related tasks in accordance with Company Rental and Infection Control procedures, as per daily work schedule and minimize associated costs
- Ensure he/she is fully conversant with products an Company and local health and safety requirements and arrangements so work on customers premises is done in a professional and safe manner
- Install, collect, swop out and socially clean customer products within SET geographic region as required by workload and in line with procedures. To complete all work electronically and submit all relevant documentation accurately and within agreed timescales
- To assist in the planned delivery of finished goods from stock and assist in field rentals as required
- On arrival at customer’s premises, to inform staff of reason for visit and request permission before carrying out required work. Upon completion of required work, to ensure work area is clean and tidy, disposal of packaging is in line with site instructions and relevant documentation is fully completed, correctly authorized an required copies left with authorizing employee
- Feedback any recommendations to Arjo following visits to customers premises, and on an ongoing basis to contribute ideas and observations in a professional manner, that may support ongoing improvement in Arjo products and services
- Ensure personal appearance and levels of hygiene and health are of an exemplary standard in keeping with the Company’s market area and ethos. To ensure that his/her Company vehicle is clean and tidy both internally and externally at all times
- Maintain equipment within his/her care in a safe working condition highlighting anything unsafe to the Rental Supervisor immediately. Any losses, breakages or excess wear and tear should be reported to the Rental Supervisor to authorize or obtain replacements
- Liaise with SET Administrator regarding work schedule and intended appointment times and ensure delays or issues are escalated
- Highlight to senior managers any shortcomings, malpractice or dishonesty contrary to company policies and procedures discovered in the course of carrying out duties.
The skills you will need
- Be conversant with ISO9001:2000, the Company’s Quality Policy and any quality processes as they apply to the role
- Previous experience in a similar environment – essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills – essential
- A good level of physical fitness is necessary for this role.
