Field Service Engineer/Technician

With more than 1300 employees worldwide, we are where our customers are, supplying approved products in our customers' countries or markets and providing supply chain and customer services locally. This role's main activities are listed below.

Customer Service:

  • Ensuring the efficient performance of services delivered to our customers worldwide.
  • Providing the field activities when requested: supervision of installation, testing, commissioning and trainings.
  • Execute the emergency site interventions.
  • Making repairs at site or at Sécheron’s facilities.
  • Execute the audits and maintenance jobs.
  • Elaboration of technical reports.

Support to Sales and Contract execution:

  • Support to Sales Engineer on substation surveys and permissions to site access.
  • Make repairing quotations.
  • Being attentive to identify new business opportunities: sale of spare-parts, repairs, on-site services, modernizations, retrofits, trainings, maintenance contracts, etc. 

Logistics and stock:

  • Support on the management of stock of spare parts and tools.

  • Willing to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Technical degree in Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related.
  • Electrical hazards and safety training; Maintenance; Protections and control of electrical equipment.
  • Experience on installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment. Ideally with experience on maintenance and on DC traction substations.
  • English and French fluent. Any other languages are a plus.
