Volvo Car Switzerland AG – Let’s introduce ourselves

We are a team of approximately 45 people and operate as a Sales Company within Volvo Cars, responsible for all activities related to the commercialization of our brand. As Product Manager you would be part of the Product Offer & Revenue Management Team, responsible for setting relevant product offers and prices to facilitate Volvo Cars’ profitable growth and electrification in Switzerland. We are currently looking for a Product Manager in Zurich (Regensdorf). in this role we would like you to be in the office at least 3 days a week and you can work up to two days remote.

What you’ll do

In this role you will coordinate the product range in the market (online and offline) and drive further product portfolio development. You will ensure strategic planning and maintenance of the product portfolio over the entire lifecycle. You will also plan and implement market-specific special models and support new product launches in cross-functional collaboration.

Other responsibilities:

  • Coordinate price setting for the Swiss market
  • Perform revenue management analyses for the current and future product portfolio
  • Perform market and competition analyses and track performance KPIs
  • Drive creation of product information, sales literature, point of sales material and various marketing and communication materials
  • Act as contact person for product-related questions from Volvo partners and other stakeholders (e.g. headquarters in Sweden, dealer network, internal stakeholders)

What you’ll bring

We are looking for you who is passionate about the automotive industry. You have a genuine interest in building partnership to achieve shared objectives. You will be the go-to person for expertise related to this area, therefore a positive attitude and understanding of different perspectives combined with balancing stakeholders is important.

You also have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Management or related fields
  • Previous product management experience in the automotive, online business, banking, fintech or related sectors
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and analytical tools, especially when it comes to Excel and Power BI
  • Occasional travel domestically and internationally
  • Fluency in German and English speaking and writing are required. Fluency in French would be highly beneficial
