Finance Manager Growth
Job Purpose
This newly created role is to set the right finance foundations for our partnership and acquisitions growth. You will be in an unique position to make an impact within IWG on how to integrate, operationalise partnerships with our network development team.
You will interact with key stakeholders such as the Chief Strategy Officer and his Leadership team, Regional CEOs and the Legal Team as well as being representing IWG with external partners.
You will be able to deal externally with our broad partner landscape in an entrepreneurial environment and become their trusted advisor of IWG Finance organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement a scalable service model across our Finance organisation to execute on our growth strategy through our partnership and acquisitions model with the view of building a Self Service Partner reporting platform (ultimately it could drive additional IWG Revenue) by working with our Global Shared Service Centre team.
- Monitor and report on Finance service levels to CFO and his leadership team.
- Be the Business partner of our Chief Strategy Officer and his leadership team and report on
- Work with the GSC to ensure the right accounting treatment of each type of partnership.
- Be the PoC for any future acquisitions for Legal, the M&A team and Finance driving integration across the financial end to end process.
- Ensure reporting and visibility to both the CFO and the Business stakeholders.
- Ensure Partner reporting and escalations management and resolution. Be the voice of IWG Finance for the external partners.
Partner reporting example would include:
- everything shared with potential partners (revenues, costs, capex).
- Collecting set up fees
- Oversight of fitout spend
- Managing furniture (and wider) rental piece, which I suspect is about to become problematic
- Owning reporting back to partners
- Payments & bad debts
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- A min of 5/7 Years experience and leadership visibility at senior level
- Qualified accountant or equivalent (ACA, ACCA and/or CIMA)
- Experience to have worked in a global finance environment and work with a Shared Service center would be an advantage.
