In this role, you will:

Lead and/or participate in the effort to define and deliver the strategy and architecture for IT services, products, and capabilities for analytical front-end reporting suite using tools such as Power BI.

Accountable for providing the front-end analytical reporting design/BI Reporting Strategy, including the detailed configuration that considers how to structure a segment solution based on requirements from the business, global and regional views, as well as the design of standard software configurations.

Delivers front-end solution designs including but not limited to user story, required measures, comparative analytics, recommended tool selection, visualization and guided analytical design.

Collaborate in design reviews and recommend new standards for visualizations. Conceptualize and Design the best fit solution against the requirements

May provide detailed build estimates to the Solution Architect for front-end development.

Translates non-functional and functional requirements into front-end analytical solution designs, ensuring solution aligns with business goals and processes, uses and provides enterprise information consistently, integrates effectively with other applications and supports a common application environment and user interaction model.

Design, develop and deploy performance analytics and visualization standards that provide outstanding performance and experience for self-service developers and their end-users.

Is knowledgeable in industry best practices in their area of expertise and uses resources outside of K-C to deliver the front-end technical solutions.

Strong knowledge in business and technical functions that are touchpoints with their area of expertise

Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for other teams and team members.

Work independently to understand business analytics requirements and translate them into solutions that provide optimal user experience, particularly related to FOAK deliveries within business analytics.

Research the BI industry and vendor releases, with primary focus on front-end reporting and analytics with our strategic vendors: PowerBI, Tableau, SAP, etc.

B.S., B.A. degree. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred, but not required

7-10 years of IT or analytics experience
-
4-6 years of experience delivering Business Intelligence Solutions
-
4-6 years developing Data Visualization solutions which helps provide insights to the business.
-
3+ years of Experience of using Power BI as an Enterprise Reporting Solution
-
Strong Technical Expertise in Power BI (mandatory). Expert knowledge using advanced calculations and transformations in Power BI. Additional Power Platform experience a plus.

Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements. Sound knowledge of Power BI Security.
-
Excellent knowledge of connecting Power BI to various data sources. SAP HANA, SQL Server, Flat Files, Snowflake, GBD is desirable.

Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts including star schema, relational databases, BIG Data (Snowflake, GBD, etc.)
-
Experience with OLTP and OLAP database modeling
-
Experience with Collibra, Tableau and other visualization tools is a plus.

Experience in Trouble Shooting, Performance tuning of reports and resolving issues within PowerBI Server and Reports.

Experience with UI/UX process in Dashboard Design is a plus.

Possess leadership skills and exhibit creative thinking to be able to come up with inventive solutions to solve business challenges

Self-motivated to keep up with industry trends and disseminating information across the organization

Experience working with blended teams consisting of employees, vendors, and consultants with both onshore and offshore resources

Cultivates networking opportunities within the organization
-
Broad range of business and IT experiences; Has achieved technical and/or business certification(s).

Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
