Founded in 2017, Unit8 is a fast-growing Swiss AI and data analytics consulting and services company dedicated to solving complex problems of traditional industries like automotive, chemical, financial services, manufacturing and pharma. • Building a real-time production line monitoring system for the pharmaceutical industry in order to improve the throughput of the production processes for the Pharmaceutical Industry. Technologies: AWS, EKS, CloudFormation, Docker, Python
• Building system for calculating and delivering global climate scores i.e. estimating the impact of climate change on the risk of natural disasters (i.e. floods, wildfires & droughts) for the Insurance Industry. Technologies: PySpark, Python, Proprietary Data Processing Platform
• Building a modern data science platform including a data lake for Chemical Industry. Technologies: Azure, ML Studio, Data Factory, Databricks, Spark

Unit8 is looking for a Delivery Lead to support our new engagements. You will be responsible for collaboration closely with our clients to help them achieve their goals. You will be representing and working with our engineering team to deliver products and solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Foster and nurture strong relationships with crucial stakeholders
• Provide expert guidance to clients regarding technical solutions, and help them navigate tradeoffs and complications.
• Identify and seize opportunities to cultivate and expand potential collaborations with clients
• Collaborate with clients to comprehend, break down, and address their challenges through data, advanced analytics, and machine learning.
• Implement solutions alongside a proficient engineering team.
• Deliver comprehensive presentations to stakeholders and top-level management, showcasing the progress and outcomes of the work.
• Assist in scoping and drafting proposals for new engagements, ensuring alignment with client requirements and objectives.
• Effectively manage a project delivery teams comprising engineers and consultants, ensuring successful project execution.

Who You Are

• You possess a proven track record of collaborating with clients to comprehend, break down, and effectively address their problems and challenges, while prioritizing stakeholder management and fostering strong client relationships.
• You have a minimum 5+ years of work experience in the consulting industry.
• You have prior experience leading teams.
• You have a proven track record of delivering Advanced Analytics/Machine Learning oriented solutions in production environment.
• You are familiar with a lifecycle an Advanced Analytics/Machine Learning project from data sourcing and data processing to data presentation and
• You know at least one the following programming languages: Python, Java, C++, C#, Scala and are comfortable with reading and understating codebases written in those languages.
• You are familiar with and enjoy working in an agile environment.
• You possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with clients, understand their needs.
