Commercial Real Estate Program Manager and Move Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Commercial Real Estate Program Manager will be responsible for managing the design and construction of new and renovated facilities and coordinating the move activities, ensuring compliance with Vantive business objectives and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating internal and external stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing project costs. This role requires a strong understanding of the real estate market, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to develop project needs statements and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Accountable for developing and implementing strategic plans for the commercial real estate portfolio, including acquisition, disposition, leasing, and property management strategies.
- Work closely with end users to develop clear scopes of work and define specific outcomes required by the projects.
- Assure regular cadence of internal and external communication meetings and prepare executive level updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess potential real estate opportunities and make recommendations.
- Assist Procurement in selecting qualified vendors for each project and negotiate contracts and changes to be fair and competitive.
- Coordinate peer reviews where appropriate on significant projects.
- Work with IT, Security, Branding, Procurement, and others to assure all solutions are considering the varied needs and interests of all groups, while meeting the objectives of the project.
- Perform options review and value engineering internally and externally to assure best values are achieved.
- Develop, confirm, collaborate with the team, and gain approval for project schedules and maintain schedules and commitments to assure timely completion of projects.
- Proactively estimate, update estimates, and track all costs for projects to keep a rigorous and current view of all project funding.
- Working with the Director, negotiate all contracts and changes to assure best values are achieved and communicate cost over runs or under runs in a timely manner to assure management is up to date on funding.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
- 5+years of relevant experience
- Professional licensure is helpful but not required
- Strong understanding of the commercial real estate market, including trends, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
