If you are an Industrialisation Manager for IoT and possess strong technical expertise in IoT systems, excellent project management skills, a strategic mindset for scaling operations, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively - this could be the role for you:
Here's what you'll do:
- Product Industrialization: Lead the industrialization process of IoT devices, including design for manufacturing (DFM)
- Manufacturing Process Development: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for IoT loggers, including assembly, testing, and quality control procedures
- Supplier Management: Identify and qualify suppliers for components and materials required for IoT loggers. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality components
- Testing: Oversee performance-, field-, acceptance testing and validation to ensure that IoT devices meet performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements
- Cost Optimization: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize the manufacturing cost of IoT loggers without compromising quality
- Quality Assurance: Establish quality assurance processes and standards to ensure that IoT loggers meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements at scale
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, specifications, and quality standards for IoT loggers
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, quality, and reliability of IoT loggers throughout the product lifecycle
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (IoT Engineering Team, Operations and support Teams, etc. ) to implement improvements
- Monitor performance and reliability of loggers and gateways in the field and analyse issues
- Develop and build-up industrialization / production processes within organization
This is what you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred
- Proven experience in industrialization and manufacturing of electronic devices, preferably IoT
- Strong understanding of IoT technologies, including sensors, embedded systems, wireless communication protocols, and data analytics
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection moulding, PCB manufacturing & assembly, and product testing
- Experience with design tools (CAD/CAM), statistical analysis tools, and quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma)
- Strong focus on ensuring quality and ensuring reliability
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards applicable to IoT devices (e.g., FCC, CE, RoHS)
- Ability to travel occasionally for supplier visits, prototype testing, and production ramp-up activities
- Language: English
