<div class="cmp-job-details__description-block"><p>The design of high voltage (HV) devices, such as gas circuit breakers (CB), requires – among others – the prediction of arc extinction and dielectric withstand phenomena. The research activities in the area of gas circuit breakers are enhanced by various computer-aided-engineering tools and IT technologies. The aim of the internship is to design and improve in-house experimental data post-processing and analysis tools which are integral to CB research. The duration of the internship is 6 months.</p><p></p><p><b>Your responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Design, implementation and improvement of software solutions related to in-house tools for processing simulation results </p></li><li><p>Documentation of code implemented for integration and appropriate user guides</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your background</b></p><ul><li><p>Enrolled in a MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science or similar </p></li><li><p>Familiarity with one or more programming languages - C/C++, Python, Matlab </p></li><li><p>Knowledge of best practices for implementing user interfaces (any language) is a bonus </p></li><li><p>Interest or willingness to learn modern software technologies – virtualization, data-driven methods </p></li><li><p>Self-driven and curious, good organizational skills, work well in a team </p></li><li><p>Ability to prioritize and work efficiently </p></li></ul><p></p></div>
