Marketing Specialist

To strengthen the global marketing at VAT, we are looking for a dynamic, motivated and creative marketing professional to join our small team and support us in a broad and interesting field of work. As a member of the Marketing and Corporate Communications team, the job holder will be supporting the group-wide marketing activities.
YOUR CHALLENGES
- Develop integrated product marketing campaigns with a focus on selected key target groups and work from strategy to execution in your campaigns, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies where appropriate
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product management, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals
- Plan, coordinate, implement, evaluate and optimize marketing events (e.g., conferences, trade shows, and promotional activities) including coordination of event logistics, such as venue selection, audio-visual requirements and worldwide exhibit shipping
- Implement and optimize marketing automation strategies to enhance customer engagement, streamline campaigns, and increase conversion rates
- Write and edit texts for online channels, including social media, websites, and email campaigns
- Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing marketing materials
- Provide comprehensive support to the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications in all organizational matters, ensuring efficient coordination and execution of departmental tasks
YOUR COMPETENCIES
- Master or Bachelor degree (preferably in business administration, marketing or communication) or a higher education in the field of marketing
- 3 to 5 years business experience in marketing in an international company (ideally industrial)
- Strong project management skills
- Proactive, independent work attitude and a precise and meticulous way of working that distinguish you from others
- Solution-oriented and distinctive organizational, process and administrative skills
- Willing to shape the marketing efforts and think ahead to identify future development steps
- Experienced in developing integrated marketing campaigns and content for different target groups and marketing channels
- Proficient in the organization of events, especially trade fairs
- Flair for graphic design andfamiliar with the most common graphic programs
- Cool head even in hectic times
- Excellent oral and written skills in German and English
