Job Description
Banking Operations is a strategic Avaloq service line providing Banking Operations outsourcing services to banks. We are organized as a global Business Area, running state-of-the art Backoffice services with industry leading automation, quality, and risk standards. We are experts in providing a true value add to our clients and thus, always look to add creative and client-oriented personalities with drive and passion to our team.
The Corporate Actions Processing Team manage events coming from the market affecting the characteristic, the nature, or the value of a security. These events can be mandatory, mandatory with options or voluntary. The activity includes instruction management, transaction management and inquiry management for such events.
Your key tasks
- Booking of Mandatory / Voluntary events
- Instructions to custodians (via MT 565) or external tools.
- Cash and stock reconciliation
- Inquiry
Qualifications
- Economics studies, preferably at university level and with a focus in Finance
- Proactive approach towards a highly challenging, fast-paced and complex environment
- Good communication and organization skills
- Good team player and positive attitude
- Flexibility and willingness to learn
- English language
It would be a real bonus if you have
- Knowledge of Corporate Actions (even if only theoretical)
- Knowledge of additional languages
