UDEM is a leading institution dedicated to advancing medical research in diabetestechnology. We seek a study physician to join our clinical research team for aclamp study on individuals living with Type 2 Diabetes. The candidate willconduct clamp studies and collaborate closely with the Principal Investigatorto ensure the success of the research project.

What you can expect

  • Execute clamp studies and other study-related procedures ensuring adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and good clinical practices.
  • Data Management: Oversee accurate data collection and study-related event reporting.
  • Patient Engagement and Care: Responsible for informing patients about the study and obtaining informed consent. Oversee patient care throughout the study.
  • Medical Assessments: Perform physical examinations, monitor patient vitals, and manage any adverse events or complications that arise during the study.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Principal Investigator, research coordinators, and other team members to facilitate smooth study operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with institutional, state, and federal regulations, including maintaining accurate and complete study documentation.
  • Reporting: Assist in the preparation of study reports, presentations, and publications, contributing to the dissemination of study findings.

Your Profile

We are seeking a qualified and highly motivated clinician to join our team. This position offers the unique opportunity to conduct clinical research and the possiblity to complete a medical dissertation during your employement if desired. Requirements are:

  • Medical Degree.
  • Relevant certifications in clinical research or clinical trials management.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Demonstrated interest in diabetes science and research.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in conducting clamp studies is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Attention to detail, empathy, and dedication to patient care.
  • Fluent in German, both written and spoken. Good English skills are a plus
