The Position
The position will manage and support all aspects of safety, risk and security for all the business lines operating (Records Management, Digital Solutions, Asset Life Cycle Management, Secure Destruction) within ANZ.
The Responsibilities

Developing and implementing robust safety, risk and security policies and procedures to protect the Customer and Company assets, employees and facilities

Conduct studies and investigations to ensure compliance with government safety and health laws, standards and regulations and industrial hygiene

Investigate accidents and promote safety-conscious work performance and training programs

Determine root cause analyses and provide safety performance measures

Assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches, incidents and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal functioning of safety and security systems

Conduct or assist conducting regular safety and/or security assessments, facilitate customer audits and inspections to identify gaps and recommend areas for improvement

Maintaining and updating emergency response plans and training the site teams

Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security measures and respond to incidents

Ensure strict compliance with government safety and health laws, standards and regulations, (from investigation to administrating training program)

Fostering a culture of security awareness and training employees on safety and security protocols and procedures

Support the Org optimisation plans and projects that are focused on driving process improvements and risk reduction.

Work with corporate teams to provide appropriate guidance and sustainable processes.
The Person

A minimum of Bachelor’s degree (any field or domain)
-
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in safety and/or security management, law enforcement or the military, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices

Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and safety in ANZ (e.g. WHS Act, SafeWork in NSW)

High level of Injury Management understanding and facilitation, return to work experience

Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating safety and security risks

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organisation
