Engineering, operations and consulting of Web Application Firewall and Client Identity and Access Management (CIAM) infrastructure
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Operate the existing Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Client Identity and Access Management Solution (CIAM) infrastructure together with our team of WAF engineers
- Collaborate with various stakeholders globally to enhance the existing WAF / CIAM infrastructure or to integrate new web applications
- Analyze alerts and incidents related to WAF / CIAM and initiate actions for remediation as part of the 2nd and 3rd level support organization and take part in the on-call duty rotation
- Contribute to planning, priorization and communication of upcoming activities within our team and with our stakeholders
- Review new or changed requirements and asses their feasibility as well as their impact on the surrounding systems, standards and guidelines
- Enhance the automation and scalability of the WAF and CIAM infrastructure
- Improve the service reliability, security, performance and monitoring of the WAF / CIAM infrastructure
- Co-decision of architecture and operation of WAF / CIAM infrastructure
YOUR PROFILE
- 2 or more years of experience with operating WAF and CIAM solutions such as Nevis, F5 or Airlock
- Strong troubleshooting and structured problem-solving skills
- Profound understanding of security best practices of web applications and APIs
- Solid foundation in networking fundamentals, with good understanding of Internet protocol suite and appropriate analysing tools
- Good understanding of Linux operating systems and its command line tools
- Knowledge of authentication and federation mechanisms such as SAML, OAuth and OIDC
- Experience with containerization technologies and automation capabilites is an advantage
- Team player, strong collaborator with the ability to take ownership
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, well structured and reliable
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English language
- Higher professional education (Swiss Federal Diploma or higher education) or comparable certification (CISSP) with relevant practical knowledge is desired
