As a Product Care Engineer intern, you will play a crucial role in the lifecycle management of our surge arrester products. You will contribute to product design, technical support, and process improvement while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic engineering environment.

Your responsibilities

• You will be part of the Product Care team and learn about the lifecycle of products

• You will learn and be responsible for surge arrester’s design

• You will have real life example about technical support provided to every department

• You will learn how to lead tasks and small projects from stakeholder alignment, to define, plan and implementation activities

• You will carry out and document tests to qualify designs, materials, products, and processes

• You will conduct RCA and DOEs on factory issues and customer complaints

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Experience with CAD software (such as ProE or similar)

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in English, with German language skills being a plus

• Valid work permit for Switzerland
