We are looking for a Financial Accountant, to join our client's team based in Zurich.
Our client is a a leading independent asset management firm offering tailored investment solutions to global institutions, financial intermediaries, and private investors.
About the job:
Prepare consolidated financial statements, including intercompany reconciliation, data collection, quality checks, and review of monthly results.
Prepare financial reporting for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
Contribute to IFRS consolidated financial statements for annual and half-year reports.
Respond to auditors' requests during interim and year-end audits.
Manage accounting for IFRS topics such as pensions (IAS 19R), share-based payments (IFRS 2), and lease accounting (IFRS 16).
Analyze IFRS changes and their impact on the organization.
Update Group Accounting Policy and reporting guidelines regularly.
Support local accounting teams with accounting and system-related queries.
Engage in ad-hoc projects as needed.
About the candidate:
Higher education in Finance and Accounting with 3-5 years of experience in Group Consolidation or Controlling within a publicly listed multinational company.
Audit experience, preferably with a Big4 firm, and proficiency in consolidation and IFRS standards.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
Excellent written and spoken English; German is advantageous but not required.
Effective communication skills for clear guidance to subsidiaries and stakeholders.
High ethical standards, service-oriented, and committed to delivery.
Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment, and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
Familiarity with Workday, Adaptive Insights, ProLease, Equatex, and other consolidation and reporting tools is beneficial.
