Would you like to work closely with our regulated financial market infrastructure business units, and with the wider financial community to develop and promote the services of SIX? Do you have a strong understanding of the exchange business and very good communication and interpersonal skills? Then, our Public Affairs and Market Structure Team wants to hear from you! We are a highly motivated and collaborative team with wide experience in our field of expertise. We are responsible for monitoring and influencing policy and regulatory evolution and managing our relationships with relevant industry bodies also active in this field.
What You Will Do:
- Perform an advisory role and provide expertise for relevant regulatory developments (with a focus on the EU, Switzerland and UK) and positively contribute to increase visibility of the team through active communication and expertise
- Support the Exchange Business in Switzerland and Spain in internal and external meetings and discussions
- Interact with relevant domestic and foreign trade associations setting the strategic direction, negotiate policy direction and understand the evolving financial landscape
- Draft and negotiate SIX policy positions with all stakeholders aligned to business strategy
- Represent the team across the internal business units, corporate projects, taskforces and working groups
What You Bring
- Solid understanding of financial markets, the capital markets’ value chain, and specifically the activities of a financial market infrastructure provider like SIX
- Solid understanding of domestic and European financial market regulation with focus on Exchanges
- High flexibility and ability to work independently and under pressure
- Structured way of thinking and working with open communication skills
- Professional level of communication skills in German and English. Spanish is an advantage
