Our client, a niche player in the life insurance industry, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their company at their offices in the region around Rapperswil, SG.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of annual financial statements, reports and budgets for the entire group as well as for the Swiss unit
  • Liquidity planning and management to ensure optimal cash flow
  • Leadership and development of the finance team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence
  • Strategic advisory to the executive management and the board of directors
  • Responsible for controlling functions, including planning, budgeting, reporting, and cash management
  • Primary responsibility for capital investments to ensure the best returns
  • Overseeing financing activities to support the company's financial health
  • Ensuring adherence to defined processes and quality standards within the finance function
  • Compliance with internal and external regulations, ensuring all activities meet legal and company standards

Requirements:

  • +10 years of professional experience within finance, preferably with a focus on the life insurance industry
  • Proven ability to develop and implement risk strategies aligned with corporate goals
  • Experience with financial statements, external auditors, and group consolidations
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in the financial sector
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of leading a team effectively
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to change and drive the company forward
  • High integrity and ethical behaviour in all business dealings
  • Commitment to fostering a positive risk and learning culture within the organization
  • Fluency in both German and English is required – any other national language knowledge are welcome
