Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

Aufgaben

Become part
of a dynamic team and actively shape the future of construction projects in
Sweden. We, a publicly listed European technology group for construction
services, are looking for a committed lawyer specialized in the construction
industry. As a key contact for the operational units, you will provide the business
with sound, practice-oriented advice throughout the entire life cycle of a
construction project.

Key tasks:

• Independent provision of legal
  support to ongoing construction projects, particularly in construction law
  and public procurement law.
• Reviewing construction
  contracts and supporting tendering procedures to ensure legally compliant
  and efficient processes.
• Processing of appeals against
  award decisions and support in final contract negotiations, always with
  the aim of achieving the best possible results for the company.
• Active involvement in the
  enforcement of claims to ensure successful project realization.
• Support in the settlement of
  final accounts and resolution of potential disputes to ensure a successful
  and smooth project completion.
• Develop and maintain tools and
  templates to enhance contract implementation as well as provide regular training
  sessions to ensure operational colleagues are equipped with the legal
  knowledge relevant for their business activities.

Qualifikationen

• You have successfully completed
  your law studies at a Swedish university.
• You have several years of professional experience in the in-house legal department of a company
  or in a law firm.
• You have practical experience
  in construction law and public procurement law.
• You have an excellent command
  of Swedish and are able to communicate complex legal issues clearly and
  comprehensibly. You are also proficient in English, with the confidence to
  work effectively in this language.
• You are characterised by a strong hands-on mentality and are motivated to grow together with a dynamic team and a future-oriented company.
• You are happy to take responsibility for your own work and actively contribute to our joint success.
• Your way of working is marked by
  solution orientation and integrity, to successfully master even complex
  tasks.
• You are open and curious to
  broaden your professional horizon and build up expertise in other legal
  areas

A hybrid working model may be possible by mutual agreement and occasional business trips within and outside Sweden are part of the position. We are members of the Swedish Construction Association (Byggföretagen) and apply the collective labour agreement ‘Tjänstemannaavtalet’.
