You'll lead and develop the communication team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment while shaping global strategies in partnership with the Creative Director. With a strong sense of the global cultural zeitgeist, you'll apply your expertise across PR, social media, digital platforms, campaign rollouts, and media strategies to deliver impactful communication initiatives.
Your mission
- You lead, inspire, and develop the global communication team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
- You define the global communication strategy together with the communication channel experts (i.e. website, newsletter, Social Media, PR)and in collaboration with the Creative Director
- You oversee and plan the overall communication planning and resources for the communication circle
- You initiate and execute selected campaigns that reflect FREITAG’s values and meet strategic objectives
- You write, challenge and edit communication output to sharpen the the brand’s image
- You plan our GTM (Go-To-Market) activities from a communications perspective, aligning with product management and market needs
- You collaborate across circles (departments) and with key stakeholders to identify and enhance communication opportunities
- You stay updated on communication trends, industry developments, and market insights, incorporating innovative formats and channels into strategies
Your backpack
- You have at least 5+ years of experience in the communication & marketing field and ideally within a comparable role within a large brand or agency, with a proven track record in media relations, brand strategy, and storytelling
- You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- You possess a deep understanding of PR, social media, digital platforms, and emerging communication channels, combined with expertise in campaign rollouts, digital marketing, and media strategies
- You are well-connected within the creative industry, building on FREITAG’s community and partnerships, and are attuned to the global cultural zeitgeist with a strong grasp of consumer behavior and market trends
- You have knowledge of and passion for circularity, culture, fashion, design, and product development
- You demonstrate exceptional leadership and management skills to inspire teams, take a proactive and visionary approach, and think strategically about long-term goals
